DR. ROGER V. HOUTSMA

Dr. Houtsma was brought home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday afternoon, May 24, 2019. His passing was sudden and unexpected, without accident or pain or illness. We know that the Lord called him home.

He was used by the Lord to transform many lives and to impact the growth of countless ministries around the world. Millions of lost souls have been saved, hundreds of thousands of lives healed, marriages restored, and more gifts than can ever be accounted for here. Though we are saddened by the absence of his gracious life, we celebrate the eternal fruit that remains and will continue to flourish. 

His life was fully given to the Lord and the call on his life, as a life poured out and given to any who would draw from him. 

While many knew his public ministry, he was also a wonderfully loving and faithful husband, father and grandfather. He deeply loved us, and we deeply loved him in return. We are so grateful to the Lord for the time we had with him. 

We know that many continue to express their appreciation, love and prayers for our family. Thank you for all of your love. We did not have a memorial service for Dr. Roger V. Houtsma. He has impacted so many lives around the world, in so many countries and so many cities that the only way we could truly have a celebration of his life will be to do so together in heaven. 

We love you, Dr. Roger V. Houtsma. You are missed. We look forward to our reunion with you and rejoicing together for all eternity in all God was able to do in and through your life. Thank you for who you were and are. We know you are not dead but have passed from death to life.
